“We wanted to just say “NO” to discounts at the cash register to our bike club members and racers. Bike Cooperative was the answer in 2017. We went to a rewards system where we normally get 10% off most p/a purchases at the register to now its 10% in rewards. We get to keep that 10% and give it back to them in the form of a reward. We do this every 6 months, we email our club members their total reward and they use it on our website or in store.
It has retained loyalty and saved the company a LOT of money because only 65-70% of the members redeem their rewards within 30 days of receiving them.”
